AI Adoption Advisory

AI adoption, delivered by operators.

Cheneval Advisory helps schools, universities and organisations adopt AI in practical, sustainable ways. We combine a practitioner's perspective to AI transformation and a strategic approach to implementation, using the tools daily, working inside real institutions, and helping leaders move from "we should do AI" to "here's what we changed on Monday."

Our Approach

From AI uncertainty to confident action.

AI adoption isn't a tooling problem. It's a workforce transformation problem. Our three-phase approach helps your organisation move through it deliberately rather than reactively.

Phase 01

Diagnose

Through a workshop, leadership session, or fixed-scope readiness assessment, we identify where AI can create real value in your context and the workflows, capabilities and risks that need attention first.

Phase 02

Apply

We work alongside your people to put the highest-leverage use cases into practice using existing tools or helping you choose the right tools, designing real workflows, and proving value before you scale.

Phase 03

Embed

We help build the AI literacy, setup governance structures, and implement operating rhythms that make change stick so your teams keep moving long after the engagement ends.

About

Practitioner-led, not slide-deck-led.

Jami Emerson Cheneval

Jami Emerson Cheneval is the principal of Cheneval Advisory, a Sydney-based consultancy helping schools, universities and organisations adopt AI in practical, sustainable ways.

Originally from Oregon City in the United States, Jami completed a Bachelor of Information Technology at the Australian Catholic University and was named the 2020 NSW International Student of the Year — Higher Education for her leadership and contribution during her studies. She currently works in IT at the University of Technology Sydney as an AI Capability and Adoption Specialist and Test Automation Engineer.

Alongside her IT work, Jami is the founder of an Australian wholefood snack bar brand built on lean operations and integrated AI workflows, and she served as the 2020 Founder-in-Residence at the UTS Techcelerator Female Founder Mentoring Program, supporting emerging women founders across the Australian innovation community.

Through Cheneval Advisory, Jami brings a practitioner's perspective to AI transformation — combining technical engineering discipline, founder experience, and hands-on institutional AI adoption work. She believes AI adoption is a workforce transformation challenge, not a tooling one, and works closely with leaders across education, people-and-culture, and operations to make it real.

Services

Four ways we work with you.

01

Executive Workshops

In-house sessions for leadership teams, executive groups, boards, and People & Culture functions — on AI literacy, governance, adoption strategy, and change management. Half-day or full-day.

02

Adoption Partner Retainer

Ongoing monthly advisory after a diagnostic — leadership sessions, async support, roadmap reviews, governance check-ins, and change-management coaching as you execute.

03

Operational Workshops

Hands-on sessions that help operational and frontline staff adopt AI in their everyday work — turning the right tools into practical, repeatable workflows for the tasks they already own.

04

Advisory Hours

Pre-purchased advisory hours for organisations that need on-demand AI guidance without a full engagement — document reviews, board prep, vendor evaluation, second opinions.

In their words

What clients say.

Jami, thank you for facilitating such an outstanding AI adoption workshop at Loreto Kirribilli. Your engaging and practical approach inspired our team to think more innovatively about AI, leading many to begin building their own agents to improve productivity while helping even our late adopters understand the value of integrating AI into their everyday work.
